For me, it has become a family tradition to visit the James Island Festival of Lights. Maybe it is the bright displays of holiday scenes, the large sand sculpture, or the roasting of marshmallows in a blazing fire pit. All of these things are wonderful but I believe that it is sharing this time with friends and family that truly makes my holiday bright.

While you are enjoying your holiday season and traditions, consider starting a new one. From the Charleston Harbor, the lights are burning bright along the battery. Take the time to get on the water and enjoy.

Captains Source doesn’t believe this and knows that it is about proper training.
